About Me

Hello! I’m Darah McCloud, M.S., a master’s-level clinician in Georgia. I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University and my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Connecticut.

I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and families. Much of my experience includes supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, behavioral challenges, adjustment issues, emotional regulation, and social skills development. I also work with a wide range of other concerns and tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each client and family.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and creative. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)along with play therapy, art-based interventions, and expressive techniques to make therapy engaging and effective. I also partner closely with parents and caregivers, equipping families with strategies to support progress beyond the therapy room.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family. I am passionate about helping children and families build resilience, strengthen relationships, and thrive together.

“These diverse experiences have given me a strong foundation in understanding the unique challenges children and families face and the importance of creating a supportive, compassionate, and engaging environment for growth.”
